I’m based in Bath and set up Homemade by Ella, after leaving my life at Uni, to pursue something I was super passionate about and enjoyed doing! My aim is to bring you cake that not only looks great, but tastes great too and puts a smile on everyones face.
I put a lot of time and effort into making the cake of your dreams – so lets help spread the love for cake and keep supporting small and local!

I now offer one-to-one cake masterclasses, where you can learn how to decorate a cake! However big or small, simple or over the top you would like to go with your cake, I’d love to help you learn a new skill and try something different!

Our planet, it’s important.
Wherever possible, I try and provide wholesale bakes in reusable storage containers or tins in order to minimise unnecessary waste.
Great ingredients means great tasting cake, so I only use free-range eggs in the classic bakes range!
Vegan Cakes
I’m super proud to be able to supply a variety of cakes to cater to everyones tastes and preferences.
No compromises here, my Vegan cakes taste just as great (if not better) than my classic non-vegan bakes!
I also bake the occasional gluten free cake, so if wheat isn’t your thing do get in contact and I can see what I can do!
Collection.
I can sometimes deliver especially for larger events such as weddings or large parties, but most cakes and bakes are arranged to be collected only. Collection will be arranged on confirmation of an order!
Don’t call us vain, but we think they look pretty.
A celebration cake has to stand out and look amazing. I love getting creative with the design of your cake, but of course if you have any specific ideas, I’m all ears! Lets get creative! I never make any cakes identical but if you like the look of one of my creations, I can do my best to make it similar. But remember cakes have their own identities too!
